“I need a website, but I don’t know how to build one!"

Sound familiar? Over 10 years ago this was me. I wanted to create a website. As I mentioned in the video, I paid a website developer to create a site for me. My primary reason for outsourcing this endeavor was because I was fearful and did not believe that this was a skill set I possessed.

This was why I hired someone. I wanted to save myself the headache of even attempting to tackle this feat. However, life had other plans in store for me... The site the website developer created was  nothing at all related to what we had in our contract, they wanted to charge me for changes that were needed to fix mistakes that they made, etc. Needless to say, this one horrible experience led me down the path I had been trying to avoid all along...building my own website.

This awful experience was a blessing in disguise. It forced me to roll up my sleeves and get over my fear of “breaking” my site. Did I make mistakes along the way? You betcha! Yet, I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. Making those mistakes put me in a position to gain the concepts and skills I needed to eventually create my own website.

I did it and I know you can too! Learning the basics of WordPress will enable you to feel empowered while saving you money. Your wallet is going to thank you! This course is going to put you in a position to slay by learning how to:
